The Diagnosis and Psychopathology Assessment Unit (DPU) is responsible for training, quality assurance, and consultation on diagnostic and psychiatric symptom assessment procedures for the Center's research projects as well as for Lab and Unit studies and pilot projects.

DPU.gif (37755 bytes)The DPU staff conduct research aimed at establishing interrater reliability, preventing rater drift, and developing and improving existing instruments.

The DPU also collaborates on research that examines the relationship between psychiatric symptoms and functional outcome and that examines the biobehavioral substrates and concomitants of psychiatric symptoms.
