HIIP Program 2000
Some changes have been made to the HIIP Program for the year 2000...
  • Changes for HIIP Team Awards
    Employees are now eligible to participate on ONE team per year.

  • Changes for Individual Excellence Awards: Defined Criteria
    Employees who work at least 25% time (10 hours per week) are now eligible to receive ONE Individual Excellence Award per year.

    In order for an employee to qualify for an Individual Excellence Award, they must meet all three of the following criteria:

    • Action or task demonstrates excellence or exceeds expectations inside or outside the normal scope of practice or work;
    • Action or task yields a measurable outcome or product;
    • Nomination must demonstrate that the action is more than just a courtesy, or an inconvenience to the employee

  • Changes for Individual Appreciation Awards
    Employees who work at least 25% time (10 hours per week) are eligible to receive ONE Individual Appreciation Award per year.

  • AWARDS CEREMONIES
    HIIP Awards Ceremonies will now be held three times per year rather than quarterly.

  • Deadlines for applications
    Because this program is offered year-round, there are really no deadlines ... applications may be turned in at any time! However, if you wish to submit an application prior to an upcoming Awards Ceremony, you can refer to this tentative calendar.

  • Calendar for HIIP Award Ceremonies
    The HIIP Award Ceremonies will be held three times per year in May, September, and December. The next Ceremony is scheduled for May 17; announcements will be made later to confirm this date and the time.

  • Online Nominations for Individual Awards
    Nominations may either be submitted using the HIIP Nomination form (available in Staff Human Resources), or via the web by clicking here
